PENSIONS – UPDATE – 24 JANUARY 2014

Yesterday, the Executive Council received a report of the status of discussions with ministers.  Having considered the report, the Executive Council agreed that the discussions should continue, and that the matters would be considered again when the Executive Council reconvenes on 29 January 2014. This short circular is provided to members in order to provide an update.

Since the last update there have been several developments in relation to our ongoing campaign and dispute over pensions.

Update on Northern Ireland

The General Secretary, Matt Wrack, is to attend two mass meetings in the region in January.  The meetings are open to any and all FBU members regardless of your branch.

Please make every effort to attend the meeting most convenient for you.
