NJC CIRCULAR 7/10 - MODIFIED ARRANGEMENTS - PROTECTED PAY POINTS
As a result of the Employers not making a pay offer for 2010/11, the FBU has sought a modification to the protected pay points agreement reached in 2009. This has now been agreed with the National Employers and has the effect of meaning that there will be no reduction of earnings in 2010.
Pay for 2010 still remains unresolved and the employers fully understand that this agreement does not imply agreement to a 0% pay increase for 2010.
Brigade officials will be raising this matter with local management for implementation where there is no alternative local agreement.
