New Bulletin for FBU members in the South West! See the new bulletin with a special feature on "professional duty systems for professional firefighters" which serves as a warning to firefighters about the dangers of being sucked into duty system changes as a means of delivering budget cuts. Featuring interviews and survey results from other Fire & Rescue Services, the bulletin highlights the devastating impact on families of changes in other areas and calls on members to stand up to detrimental change. EC member Tam McFarlane calls on firefighters to "stand by the Union and stand up for professional duty systems!". In other features, Avon FBU accuses politicians of putting budget cuts before public safety and we say farewell to Officials who are leaving the Service.
