National Demonstration and Rally
The Executive Council met yesterday to discuss very important issues regarding both how we pursue the aims of our trade dispute on pensions and also how we link this into a wider campaign against the cuts being imposed on fire and rescue services across the United Kingdom.
To this end it was agreed by the Executive Council to hold a national demonstration and rally in central London. Whilst details of exact timings and start location have yet to be finalised I can report that the following was agreed by the Executive Council;
National Demonstration and Rally (at Central Hall, Westminster)
Date: Wednesday 16th October 2013
Location: Central London
Members will be informed of further details in due course. In the meantime can you contact your Brigade Officials to begin making arrangements for your branch/brigade to be represented at this important national event.
